Hey just a quickie for chairpersons and speakers from the data show operators of our Sunday services.
We know it can be difficuilt to get everything that is required to be shown on the datashow complete by Thursday evening (one must laugh as I can't remember last time this happened). Anyway there is a new email address set up so that you can email your .ppt's (powerepoint presentations) in at the 11th hour (or should that be the 23rd hour). This will enable the data show operator to download them at the church earlier than you are likely to be there the following day. You should also cc it to them directly and bring a copy on a fllashdrive/memory stick. Remember you will still need to ring them and let them know what is going on. So what is it backwards? If your powerpoint presentation is too large you will have problems emailing it. 3 - 5 MB is startting to get up there. 10 MB won't be any good. Files of this size are mainly caused by inserting photos that have not been reduced in size.
'Tip for the slightly technical minded' - our data show runs at a 1024x768 pixel resolution so you photos don't need to be any bigger than that if the are full screen, and if they are half that size you can cut the photo size down further before you insert it into your presentation.
